How do I become climate positive?

We all impact the climate through our lifestyle, what we eat, travel, housing, etc., which causes greenhouse gas emissions. You can take responsibility for these emissions by changing your lifestyle or/and by supporting people who work to reverse global warming daily. By taking responsibility, your corresponding amount or even a bigger amount of greenhouse gases is not emitted elsewhere (or even gets removed from the atmosphere), thus positively affecting the climate.

What is the average footprint of a person in the EU per year?

Eurostat estimates that the total carbon footprint of EU-27 was equal to 6.8 tons of CO₂ per person in 2019. This is more than the global average, which in 2021 was 4.7 tons per person. Researchers found that the diets of people who eat more than 3.5 ounces of meat per day - about the size of a deck of playing cards - generate 7 kg of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO₂) daily. In contrast, vegetarians and vegans are responsible for 3.8 kg and 2.9 kg CO₂e, respectively.

Are you making a profit?

No, we are not, and profit is not what drives us. Our success is measured in impact and is reflected in our spending breakdown: 70% goes directly to funding the solutions, and 30% goes to our expenses (salaries, marketing, etc. ). Our primary ambition is to help people increase their positive climate impact and reverse global warming.
