IMPACT:
Decades of research have provided clear evidence of the ocean’s central role in regulating the global climate system and buffering against the impacts of climate change. The ocean has absorbed over 90% of the heat from climate change and is the sink for roughly 30% of human-caused carbon dioxide emissions.
